The air conditioning units are extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep!!! The inconsistent check-in process is quite unwelcoming without staff present at key times!!! Proximity to limited dining options requires careful planning!!!

The beautiful chalet at Alpenrose Beim Ballenberg caught my attention immediately. Simple yet stylish rooms made me feel at home. Coffee and tea stations on every floor saved me trips to the dining area. Friendly engagement from the owner made breakfast enjoyable. They served tasty homemade jams, fresh bread, and a delightful variety of choices. The dining room offers stunning views, enhancing the experience. On the downside, the bed sheets felt a bit older and could use an upgrade. One room was cold upon arrival, but adjusting the heating fixed it quickly. Overall, I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and excellent hospitality, despite minor inconveniences.

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the Ballenberg museum and offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The spacious family room allowed my kids to play freely, while the cozy atmosphere made our stay feel like home.
